Hi, I was originally planning on getting a Sapphire Radeon Nitro+ RX 580 8GB GPU for my new computer and I initially rejected the RX 590 8GB model because it used more wattage and the performance increase wasn't worth the extra money for me.
However, when I checked Amazon.ca and similar sites now, the price of the RX 590 is actually cheaper than the RX 580 by over a hundred dollars or more so I'm asking myself if I should go with the RX 590 after all or if there's a RX 580 GPU or the like that matches the performance of the Sapphire Nitro+ with the cheaper price? Here is my planned computer setup:
Monitor - LG 24MK600M-B Monitor (1080p, IPS Panel, 75Hz Refresh Rate, 5 ms (gtg) Response Time)
[Already Bought, just to be clear, this is why I'm looking into getting an AMD GPU over a NVIDA GPU so it'll work with Free-Sync if I need it.]
CPU - Core i7-9700K (8 Cores, 8 Threads. @3.6GHz, 4.9GHz w/Turbo.)
[Not planning to ever Overclock this.]
? GPU - Sapphire Radeon Nitro+ RX 580 8GB GDDR5
[No Overclocking, same as CPU]
Motherboard - Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro
RAM - Patriot Viper Gaming RGB Series DDR4 Dram 3200MHz 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB)
PSU - XFX TS 550w 80 Plus Gold
[Already Have]
HDD: 2TB Drive
[Already Have, just need to format it. I might look into getting a 256 GB SSD just for Windows 10 and applications. Need to research it more.]
CD/DVD RW Drive
[Already Have]
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Home
Any help/advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated as always. Thank you.
