Hi all! I was wondering which of these GPUs I should get. I was looking around and newegg just released a thanksgiving sale! They dropped the AMD card by 80 dollars and the Asus Nivdia card by 30 dollars. The prices are now $200 and $270. Should I grab the AMD card? It seems that they preform roughly the same however I do prefer Nivdia.

All opinions and help appreciated!

Thanks!

On some games RX580 8GB is better, on some GTX1060 6gb is better. They are roughly the same.
I would not get the RX580 4GB and GTX1060 3gb...although the RX480 4GB is the better pick in this case.

I agree with GR1M.

May want to think about other aspects you would like from the graphics card, like which would suit your monitor most or if a monitor is planned for the future that may have Gsync or Freesync.

Nvida also have fast sync, an alternative to Vsync, a feature that is really useful if you dont have or want a gsync monitor.

Im not sure what other alternatives to Vsync input lag Amd have besides freesync or if 3rd party software could allow you an equivalent to Nvidia's fast or adaptive vsync.

Still a good card. If you game at 1080 then it is enough.
I have a 4GB RX580 and I can max out all my games ( COD WW2, BF1, GTA V) @ 1080p and average 60fps.
