Question rx 580 xfx noisy when i overclocked

I think you have to go into the settings in Afterburner and check a box to enable voltage monitoring.

Just download GPUz (here)

Voltage = Power Draw = Heat. If you can lower voltage while maintaining stability at a given frequency. That's (a free way) how you reduce temps and noise.

WattMan is the best program to use for this (already installed in the AMD graphics driver software) Here's a tutorial using WattMan. Following that tutorial, if you want to just share the 7 frequencies displayed, I'll give you voltages to enter for each to save you a bunch of time and get you in the ballpark.

If you want to use Afterbuner, hit Ctrl+F to bring you to the frequency & voltage curve. and set similar voltages

If you want to use Afterbuner, you'll have to set a negative voltage offset. and test around until you get something at works. I can help with what that offset would be if you tell us some frequencies and corresponding voltages that you're currently getting on auto voltage settings.
thanks bro itry many time to play Assassin's Creed - Odyssey in 60 fps but iFailed do you think when i oc my gpu can play this in 60 fix fps my pc cpu 2600x ram 16 gb rx 580

my GPU (RX570) ive OC to 1390Mhz.. but undervolted last stage (stage 7 threw Wattman) is set to 1020mV my GPU under full load rarely exceeds 67°C , which at stock was about 83°C keep in mind as well that version 19.12.2 of the AMD Radeon software is messed up, so if I were you Id not install this version and keep to 19.12.1 or older until new version is fixed

heloo every one any one have rx 580 can help me please i overclocked my gpu from 1200 mhz to 1355 The temperature rose from 76 to 84 in furmark am locking to fix my fan in 40 % beacuse in game run at 50 to 67 % its very noisy Is there a danger? if yes in mod normale I want fix at 40 % What are your suggestions ? 83C is high. If you can't get it stable at a lower voltage you will need an AIO liquid cooler. Triple fan cards are better than dual fans, I had the XFX RX580 GTS Black Edition with default clock of 1405 it would overclock to 1485Mhz/8800Mhz with fans at 70% it was much noisier and hotter than my new OCed triple fan RTX2080Ti which rarely breaks 60C under load even with the voltage and power limit sliders maxed.

With your game settings: "Resolution Modifier" - Essentially renders each frame with more pixels. So with a 120% modifier set, you're rendering at 2016x1260 (not sure if it's 20% more total pixels, or 20% more in each direction...). Regardless, turning that back to 100% will improve frame rates by ~20%. There are obviously other tweaks that can be made to varying degrees of effectiveness to increase FPS.

You still haven't said what your actual frame rates are. Since you've got the adaptive quality setting at 60fps, there's no reason you shouldn't be getting 60fps.

I found with my GPU under volting was the easiest way to resolve temperature issues, not only is the card stable, it runs much better and even increased benchmark scores as the card can run full out without throttle due to heat. I'm really not sure why the manufactures dont just manufacture the cards with lower voltage, I'm sure there is some reason, but I cant say ive seen any bad effects of lowering the voltage, and in fact its only done good tings. I did adjust my fan curve a little as well, but I dont think I had too as it isn't much off from the stock settings, and even after hours of playing games my GPU never gets past 65°C. and the game I play is fast paced lots of animations etc.. and I play on max settings 1080p resolution

its minnig gpu

have never played assassin's creed odyssey however games I do play all exceed 60fps (according to AMD overlay) as none of mine are limited , I use AMD enhanced Sync and learned that if you limit FPS it messes up enhanced sync so I leave all that alone. but get no stutter or tearing now so it seems to have done the trick.. but games I do play are Skyrim, GTA V, Dauntless, Metro Exodus, Destiny 2, Blair Witch, Observer and several more.. Some are more fast pace like Dauntless during a hunt has many animations explosions etc.. so does GTAV.. and all exceed 60fps on Max settings, with some settings off like Motion blur.. and the card never gets even close to stock temps , I really cannot say Ive even seen it hit 70°C since ive undervolted. and some days I play games for hours at a time.
