I'm facing lower than average fps in every games.Like 15-30 frames lower I am using a ryzen 5 2400g and antec 80+ bronze 550w psu and 8gb 2400mhz ram from geil. I tried putting it in another pcie slot but no difference. yes my hdmi cable is connected to the gpu. i also tested my memory using memtest86. tried installing games on ssd but same result. with msi afterburner i get 95-100% gpu usage and 60-70% cpu usage. but with gpuz i am getting lower gpu usage frequently. but everyone is recommending msi afterburner. i am really frustrated. what could be the problem?

gpuz gpu usage during ac odyssey

79 and so on....
this is from gpu z sensor log. I also get poor rendering distance and white lines at a distance in gta v. but the fps was quite acceptable in gta v. 50+ at most cases with 4x msaa but as i said the rendering was bad. i installed watch dogs recently and its unplayable at almost every settings. the fps is horrible. So, should i trust gpuz or msi afterburner? what may be the problem. i dont have any spare system to check my parts. thanks.

Note :i am using the sapphire nitro+ rx 590 special edition which is by far the best rx 590 according to benchmarks
another note : i get 20+ fps average at unigine superposition 1080p extreme

Solution
Everything looks like it is running as it should. How do you know you are not getting the right frames? The 8gb of RAM may be holding you back some in a few games that could be causing lower frames. Also, Ryzen CPUs run much better with higher speed RAM and 2400mhz is not ideal. So if you are comparing your results to others online then that may be the difference.

It could also be a power issue. The 590 uses as much power as a 1080ti, it is not very efficient. Even though your PSU says it is 550 watts, that is the combined wattage on each rail. You need the wattage on the 12 volt rail. It may only be getting 450 on the 12 volt rail and the 590 will average 250-300watts. Peaks will bring that even higher.

Okay i'll start with the psu and see if it is the issue. ill also try adding more ram to it. thanks
