Rx 590 or Gtx 1070 is the price worth it?

Hello I have a 1080p 60hz monitor and i would like to get 70+ fps on med-high settings (i don't really care for ultra)

The debate i have is between a Sapphire rx 590 8G(282$) or a Evga Gtx 1070 8G(337$)

I was wondering if it was worth spending the extra 55$ for the 1070 or just saving the 55$ and going with a 590 instead. (Im not getting a 580 either)

The 590 comes with 3 blockbuster games which is 180$ and the 1070 comes with a $45 fortnite bundle and Monster hunter world which is 60$

Which graphics card should i pick? :O

Ryzen 5 2600 (stock)
16gb g.skill ripjaws v ram
650w psu
msi gaming plus b450m motherboard socket am4

Everyone is waiting for the answers to many questions and the CES show is when they reveal most things.
Just wait a few days and every website will post the news.
my 580 ran everything perfectly for 1080. Ultra on many games, some latest ones it struggles, but I don't mind having high settings in games either.
The 590 is a good card, but all depends on the price you are paying. Free games are good if they are the games you want to play so are worth the money. If they are not the games you want to play and you already own them, it's a pointless give-away.
Would much rather pay $50 less than have "free" games.
Putting the free games aside, the GTX 1070 is much faster, but it doesn't sound like that is a real concern with you. The RX 590 (~ 14% faster than the RX 580) should be plenty for med-high settings @ 1080p and get you more fps than a 60Hz monitor can display.

Country?

In the USA, the RX580 = $185 and also comes with 2 free games. There was a Gigabyte GTX1070 for $300 that just expired yesterday on newegg.
Since we're only a week away from the RTX2060 launch, and ~3 months away from the Navi RX3080 launch, there's no way I'd spend an extra 50% on an RX590 for only 15% more performance compared to an RX580

RX580 frame rates, 1080p, ULTRA settings (I would never recommend running ultra settings on ANY game)
BF1 = 88
Destiny 2 = 87
Far Cry 5 = 76
GTA5 = 54 (RX590 only 57)
Metro Last Light = 53 (RX590 only 55)
Shadow of Tomb Raider = 58
The Division = 67
Ghost Recon = 63
Witcher 3 = 78
Wolfenstein = 92

Keep in mind, these are picked for review because they represent some of the most demanding (and most popular) games available today.

I'd wager you could do 1080p 70FPS at med-high on a $130 RX570.

When does the RTX 2060 come out, like what day and how much does it cost?
