[SOLVED] RX 590 or GTX 1660? (or something else?)

I'm currently using a gtx 1060 3gb and I want to upgrade to one of these (I'm in canada so prices are higher and I dont make enough money for the rx 5700 to be an option). I've looked at plenty of benchmarks and they seem to be pretty much equivalent, sometimes one is better, sometimes the other is better. I can't find any information that gives either one a clear advantage over the other. I need be able to record gameplay smoothly while playing, if that makes a difference between the two gpus (obviously I know the graphical demands of the game itself will have a big impact on that, I mean if either gpu has some quality that will make it better suited to recording than the other, all other factors being equal). If anyone can definitively recommend one over the other, I'd really appreciate it!

Both cards are very good you could go with 590 because it has 8gb vram but 1660 would also be a good option because obs likes nvdia's card which has latest nvenc encoder and you can even record with shadowplay..

For the same money you can get a gtx 1660 ti runs less power stays cooler and just run more fps.
