Question RX 6600 horrible performance ?

Hello everyone. I recently bought an rx 6600 and was very excited to start using it and soon after i put it in and installed drivers i tested some games and the performance was wayyy worse than even my old gtx 1060. for example my rx 6600 was getting 60-70 fps on standard settings in ffxiv, 40-50 on GoW lowest settings and around 50 in non demanding areas of elden ring and i have no idea if im doing something wrong or if my gpu is faulty

system specs:
RX 6600
Ryzen 3400G
Corsair LPX 16GB DDR4 DRAM 3200 MHZ
Corsair CX550
MSI B450M PRO-VDH

Have you done the prerequisites like removed the old drivers and install the latest drivers for the 6600? The RX6600 should perform 36% better. It usually user error as opposed to GPU issues.

Make sure in bios that the 6600 is set for primary gpu, and also make sure you actually plugged the monitor into the gpu, be surprised how many ppl have a brainfart and plug into the motherboard outputs.
