Hello i've recently replaced GT 1030 with an RX 6600 and i think that it is underperforming. I've tested it in Dayz where i get 60-90 fps on high settings, on youtube somone was getting 120+ and in Hell let loose i get 60-80 on medium when somone with worse processor was getting 90-120 on ultra . I've seen that pepole are getting better much fps on it. My full specs are: i5 9400f, 16 gb ram ddr4,.

When watching youtube vids with people with the same GPU they also have diffrent hardware then yours so they can gain more FPS and such. You gone from small gpu and jumped really high to brand new GPU so have you got good PSU unit to power this new GPU and also have you done DDU to clean your drivers up before installing the new card

Yes i did DDU and i'm using 350w old PSU could that be the cause?

AMD states the Minimum PSU Recommended 450 W. Also a i5 9400f could be the source of a cpu bottleneck. Its a six core cpu with six threads. Its maximum Turbo Frequency is 4.1GHz. TDP of 65 watts. DDR4-2666 for RAM frequency. You can't expect to reach maximum FPS for that GPU, with this CPU. Most youtube videos they mess with the GPU's maximum power draw and run overclocked CPU's, with tuned RAM. Its hard to see the results you should get unless the system is configured as per your specs.

This may also be the reason everything appears to run well. CPU pulls very little power.

Got a video of the FPS of your kind of specs.

Computer specs :
Intel i5 9400F
16GB 2666 Mhz (2x 8GB) Corsair Vengeance
ASRock H310CM-DVS
8GB XFX Radeon RX 6600 SWFT210 Core Gaming GDDR6
be quiet! Pure Rock 2 Black
240gb Intenso SSD
1000gb seagate barracuda
azza 550w PSU
AeroCool Trinity v2 Mini

Dayz Gone Indeed this guy is getting better FPS with your specs and a better PSU. He's hitting 120+ as well.
CPU: I5 9400F
GPU: RX 6600
RAM: 16 RAM 2666 Mhz
BOARD: B365M PHANTOM GAMING 4
M.2 500GB

Different CPUs and the FPS drop you get for each.

FPS loss is not that big for dropping down to your cpu.

There is a tier list here. Example target PSU here. Make sure the PSU comes with all the connectors you need now and for future upgrades. Here is the tier spreadsheet here.

With the spreadsheet we can see that there is a tier 1 psu at 550 watts called the Be Quiet! BN200. We can see that its cheap. So next we check the reviews for this PSU. We can't find one so we move to the next PSU.

EVGA 220-G2-0550-Y1 550w Review can be found here, fan noise. EoL Kingwin LZP-550 Lazer Platinum 550 W Review. Note 2011 review date and you cannot buy it easly.

The issue is getting a good review and price. There are many different PSUs out there. You can start here.

What CPU were they using? I ask because the bottleneck in your system is your i5-9400f, not the RX 6600. Here you can see that the RX 6600 can even be bottlenecked by an i9-10900K, a CPU that is far faster and more potent than your i5-9400f. I think that's your problem.
