Nothing surprising when there is no change to the GPU specs except for higher clockspeed on both the VRAM and GPU. Instead of releasing a refresh, AMD should have just tried to lower prices. This to me is a pointless release.

That is why Nvidia and AMD release refresh models.. To keep the prices up, because these are "new and improved" versions of the old... They have two options... Reduce prices (bad to company and share holders) or make new model that benefits from more mature production of old GPUs that allow small speed pumps and keep prices up. (Much better to company and share holders!)
