Is the Rx 6700XT at around 450€ worth the upgrade from an Rx 580 ?
The 6700xt is the Sapphire Nitro+ edtion.
Cpu: Ryzen 5 2600
Gpu: Sapphire Rx 580 Nitro+ 8GB Special Edition
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 AORUS M
Ram: 16GB ADATA: 2X8GB XPG Gammix D10 Black DDR4 3000 MHz
PSU: Seasonic S12II-520 520 Watt 88% 80+ Bronze

How old is the PSU in the above listed build? If you want to drop in an RX6700T, I'd get a new, reliably built, branded PSU(like the Seasonic you have) with at least 650W of power at your entire system's disposal. In your current state, no, I wouldn't take the risk with a higher pedigree card.

Absolutely, though please make sure you invest in a quality PSU, instead of trying to bunch the PSU and GPU purchase with a limited budget. Go for a BIOS update on the motherboard and you should be able to drop in a 5000 series Ryzen processor later down the road.

Basically you are going from say a 1060 to a 2080ti in performance when going from a 580 to a 6700xt. So about 3 years between give or take, and about 3.5 tiers. I'd say worthwhile upgrade for sure. But yes you may check on the power supply.

Yeh this is an easy yes but I would def upgrade the PSU 520W is pretty low these days and I wouldn't trust it to manage the Transient spikes

A Ryzen 5600X it's in my thoughts.

Yes, but is the 6700xt the best upgrade at this price?
