Question rx 6900xt usage drops and low mhz

sapphire nitro rx6900xt
r75800x (watercooled nzxt aio)
x570 gaming edge wifi
corsair rm1000x PSU
32gb 3200mhz
Problem:
In fortnite my mhz are aalways rly low between 500 and 900mhz, ive reinstalled win10, drivers and all drivers r up to date, but the graphics card doesnt want to go higher than 1000mhz, help

settings dont matter have same problem if high or low, diffrence is just that in high it drops from around 160 to 5 back to 90 just dropping and rising all the time and in low about 300 to 20 backt to 220 same as in high just with bigger drops. Screen res 1440p 144hz

yeah there fine between 60 and 70celsius

Sry, nah my gpu isnt overclocked just had afterburner on in the background, now it worked. with gpu https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/49649693

Your lower 6900 XT usage could just be your GPU waiting for frames from your CPU. Does your FPS get better, worse, or stay the same if you run your games at 1080p?

Its only Fortnite, all other games like cyberpunk, apex etc. run fine its only Fortnite that has problems

Fortnite is an online game. It could be an issue with your internet speed and/or latency.

Got reduce latency and and freesync all else off of the special settings

Potentially, but not with just one game unless it's set in a game profile for just that one game.

OP, try resetting ALL radeon settings to default.

AMD was very aggresive with the thermal requirements for the 5700 XT. As a result they had thermal issues. I've experienced this personally.
My reference 6900 XT runs super cool and virtually silent.
