Hello, i try to build a new pc only for gaming and why not a little bit of streaming (1400-1500€ ), Problem is i don't know nothing about this.
In search for some gpu, i find the 6950xt attractive but the card seems huge and power hungry. In the other hand some friends advice me to pick the 6700 instead and buy a real good cpu with it (ryzen7 78003d)
Like i said it's only for gaming (1440p mostly 4k if possible). So do you think 6950 xt is good and i should buy that with a cpu that fit in my budget? or buy the 6700 xt less expensive and use the saved money to buy the super good cpu?

Thanks.

Weird question because 6950 xt >> 6700 xt but question is do you want to just grab a rtx 4070 for $150 less and use DLSS and RT that will outperform 6950 xt. I just don't see the appeal in previous gen cards unless they are on some crazy discount.

I was looking at this same question, gaming, but 1440p It seemed the 670xt should be fine for 1440p and the 6950 great for 1440p and good for 4k, I finally decided if the 6700 XT is fine for 1440p, save the money.

Part of that was that the 6950 xt would be more demanding. Probably need a new power supply, and was unsure what else might change.
