There is no power source that i could see to which i can put any plug to power the vcard.. this vcard seems to be a plug n play not the powered type
I can boot up the pc and there would be a display the only problem is that even thou i used the vcard in thr system the vcard is not there
I searched for images of your video card, and from the manufacturers web site found this image
it clearly shows a connector 6 pin for power to be connected on this video card, it is located on the end of the video card

stupid easy question, last time I saw video card not being seen by ati drivers, someone forgot to plug in the extra din into the card for power. could that be the case here?

It needs a power input of some sort. Plug in your psu.
Rx 460 2gb version dont have 6 pins connectors in psu, i check a lot of time, but it seems that 2gb version dont have 6 pins, connector..only those 4gb version,

What OS are u using? RX460 supports only 64bits OS.
