Question rx570 8gb or gtx 1060 3gb

i am planning on buying new which should i buy rx 570 8gb or gtx 1060 3gb
both are for same price
heating and power consumptions is not a problem and how much more performance wiil i get i currently have an r9 270x oc edtion

Get the 8GB RX 570 SKU. 3GB doesn't cut the mustard these days for AAA games. What's the make/model number of your current PSU ? Which CPU are you having ?

The 1060 3gb and 570 8gb perform simmilarly, however the 3gb of the 1060 is a limit and will be even worse in the future.

I would buy the 570 8gb.

Is it the same PRICE as the 8GB variant, or less ? If it's less, then you can consider buying it.

I can't quantify a specific number, but on the legacy portion of the GPU hierarchy chart, the RX 570 is 3 tiers above the r9 270x, so you'll see a noticeable improvement.

Which card do you actually want ? You need to first decide which video card you are really interested in. The RX 570 is obviously better...

Yup. The 570 4gb performs much better than the Geforce cards at that price point.

I have been trying to sell my 1050 after upgrading to an rx 480 and nobody will pay anything for the card. The RX cards are just better in general so who would buy a 1050 over a 570 at the same price.
