rx580 4gb &8gb

hi, currently in my country there is a sales for rx580 4gb(sapphire pulse) which is roughly 100usd cheaper then the 8gb ver . I understand that even in 1080p gaming nowadays 4gb might not enough. But the price is much cheaper then the 8gb ver, should i stick to the 8gb or buy the cheaper 4gb ver? please advice

The 4GB will be ok for now and I think for the next year at least.
8GB is more future proof, but the 580 is only ever limited to 1080p in reality.
The 8GB also OC's better for some reason than the 4GB.

If its $100 cheaper, that's a good thing - but remember the new "refresh" is about to come out soon (not sure of date yet).

By the time games require at least 8Gb to run properly the RX 580 will be outdated anyway. Running games @1080 resolution with a mix of medium to high settings 4gb will be enough for the next 2-3 years.
