Hey guys!
I am in the middle of buying a GPU for my new system.
At the moment i have 2 options:
Powercolor RX580 Reddevil OC 8gb;
Rog Strix OC GTX1060 6gb.

Due to strict budget limitations, those are my options.

Which one of these would be better for gaming?

Thank You in advance, people! :)

Solution
The RX 580 has become slightly better, thanks to driver improvements.
Right. But it's not a major, significant difference that can't be looked past if the cost difference is significant, and it might be if the OP needs a new PSU for the RX580 but doesn't for the GTX 1660, and that might be the case since the GTX 1660 will pretty easily run on a decent 430-450w power supply and the RX580 really NEEDS a decent 550w unit.

I have experience with the rx580 8g .and gtx1060 they are solid 1080 resolution cards. They will run new games on medium setting at 60fps .

Like stated if you could save up or wait a few months and get a 1660 super or ti to be a bit more future proof. Buy once cry once. Why spend 200 now and 200 next year when you can spend 250 and be good for two years .

Ill be getting at least 600w PSU anyway.
Is a 1660 or 1660super a better option than both of my stated options?
