Question RX590 incompatible with Photoshop CS6?

I just purchased an AMD RX590 card as my old card self destructed. Today I go to use Photoshop, open an image, add a text layer, duplicate that layer, drag it to another part of the image, and then as soon as I click the text tool to edit the text, Photoshop crashes, every time. Tried rebooting, updated to latest version of drivers. Does this mean I have to upgrade to a newer version of Photoshop for it to work with this card? Or is there a fix?

Is Photoshop itself up to date?
