Hi all.

I have a Ryzen 5 1600AF and a super flower 550W Silver PSU. Would this PSU run the Rx 6700xt well for 1080p ultra 60fps vsync gaming?

may depend on the exact model of the RX 6700 XT but the majority of them require at least a 650w.

It's the xfx speedster rx6700xt. If I can't run this what's the most powerful GPU that I can run? I had a gtx 1660 super before so I'm looking for a good upgrade that will last for a long time.

You could do a 6600xt. Honestly, given the cost of GPU's right now, the cost of a PSU is quite the small percentage, of overall cost.

You could do a 6600xt. Honestly, given the cost of GPU's right now, the cost of a PSU is quite the small percentage, of overall cost.

Awesome thanks man so if I go with the Rx 6600xt will that 128bit bus bottleneck me if I use high resolution textures in a game like Skyrim that's heavily modded?(4K texture packs etc) I'm at 1080p. Is the Rx 6600xt a good upgrade from my old gtx 1660 super?

I had a gtx 1660 super before so I'm looking for a good upgrade that will last for a long time.

i went from a GTX 1080 Ti to a RX 6700 XT and the improvement was negligible.
going from a GTX 1660 S to a 6700 XT will be a bit more noticeable, but going to a 6600 XT may not be.

i would really suggest either RTX 3070 Ti or RX 6800 if you're planning on using it for years to come.

Great thanks guys. Looks like I'll be getting a better PSU and then a Rx 6700xt or higher.
