Ryzen 1200 over clocking in stock cooler

Hello this is my first thread and I am from India here temperatures are 40-45c and I am willing to overclock r3 1200 till 3.8 GHz will it be fine to use the stock cooler and no tell me an aftermarket cooler and the case for it

If ambient is high, it will impact overclocking too. I will say 3.7 is still probably ok, keep voltage < 1.4v and temp under load < 85 degree.

Hello sir thanks for answering I also have an AC in my room will that impact the performance and temps. And I will be going to pair a rx470 suggest a psu(not evga they are not available here)

If AC is on, then better. My point is each chip is different, some may be able to OC 1200 to 3.9 with stock, but quite rare, 3.8 is normally a wall.

Ok sir so I will not take a custom cooler will 85c will be ok at Max temps

Yes, keep it under 85 when under load, prime95 is a good tool to test stability.

Corsair CX550 or Corsair CX550M, make sure it is grey labeled. MDcomputers have good prices on them.
If 550 is too much, 450 is fine too, but 550 allows potential better gpu in the future.

They would be m-atx not the full size motherboard an Asus or gigabyte b350 motherboard

BTW, if you don't have 1200 yet, consider 2200G too since it has IGPU while 1200 doesn't and 2200G is faster.
