Hello,

I am having a really really weird issue with my new PC build. So I built a pc with a ryzen 1500x and a gtx 1080 and 16gb of ram. When i booted up csgo i instantly noticed i had only 80 fps which was weird. I installed the nvidia drivers, amd drivers...you name it. Nothing changed. I changed the power plan also and am confused why I am still getting 80 fps even when streaming. I need help cuz i cant playh the game i bought this pc for 🙁.

Does anyone know any reason why this would be happening??

so... what's happening is likely the GPU isn't being asked to work any harder, so it isn't.
200fps is already more than your monitor will show, and the gpu is already working at what the game is requesting of it to generate, so it doesn't need to work any harder to generate more frames, so it's not making more frames.
Maybe look up how to force the GPU to run harder, but i'm not sure it will, CSGO just isn't demanding enough to...

Yep. The weird thing is, is that this issue only occurs in csgo. It doesnt occur in any other game. I uncapped it and thats when it wont even go above 200 fps sometimes. its random. like at times it is 200+, others its sub 100. It should be 300+ according to my specs.
