Question Ryzen 1600x Microstutters in games

Hello everyone,

for the past few months I've had issues with my computer and I noticed it starting to stutter, I've never had this issue before and it started to happen last year sometime.

I replaced every single part from my computer with another component EXCEPT for my CPU

Ive been considering getting a r5 2600 because they're on sale right now

my setup is as follows
CPU AMD Ryzen R5 1600x
MOBO B450 Aorus Pro
RAM 2 x 8 gb of corsair 3000mhz
GPU Evga 1070 ti ftw2
SSD Wd blue SSD 1tb
HEATSINK be quiet dark rock 2
PSU Corsair cx650M

Are you using nvidia adaptive V-sync

I disabled vsync in the Nvidia control panel

See if the stutter goes away with Vsync on, as stutter can be an issue if/when the CPU might be unable to maintain 100/144 fps on high refresh rate monitors...

Hey i just tried using adaptive vsync, it is still the same stuttering, I'd like to note since i last posted i got a r5 2600 and im still experiencing the same problem

What is your monitor and how are you connecting to it?
If using HDMI, try a different (quality) cable. That has often been the problem when everything else checks OK.

I'm connected VIA a displayport cable, im gonna try to find another cable to use, ill keep you posted.
