Solution

You're right, but OP said she/he already has those parts.

Unfortunately all the AMD options are unavailable right now as they've been snapped up by miners. So that really only leaves you the GTX 1060.

The slower 3GB version is under budget at $180: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/7bL7YJ/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1060-3gb-windforce-oc-video-card-gv-n1060wf2oc-3gd
If you're hoping to keep the card for a decent amount of time and can stretch the budget a little, the 6GB version is...
You are going to be bottlenecking with that. Drop down to a 1700 and grab a GTX 1070. That way the CPU comes with a cooler, and you still are able to enjoy nice 1080p gaming. I even seen a GTX 1080 for $390. Also choose a lower PSU. 700w is overkill.

Being that you are aiming for a 1800x, I can see your budget being around 1000...try this one for size:

I already have the system built. I just haven't gotten around to ordering the GPU yet.

Ah, didn't catch your edit. If that is the case, I would really recommend saving up for something else. You can try to get a RX 480/580 4GB for your best bet. But good luck finding one.

If you're hoping to keep the card for a decent amount of time and can stretch the budget a little, the 6GB version is faster graphics card (the 3GB models have some resources disabled), and the extra VRAM means it's likely to stay a relevant/useful card for longer. It's curently ~$230: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/7RKhP6/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1060-6gb-windforce-oc-6g-video-card-gv-n1060wf2oc-6gd

Both those prices require the use of rebates. May or may not be helpful. Here's the PCPartpicker list: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/video-card/#c=378,373&sort=price&page=1

Just to be clear, the 3GB 1060 is over 20% cheaper, and while a little slower, won't usually be 20% slower, so it's probably the better value buy right now. Part of what you pay for with the 6GB version is the hope/expectation that it'll last you longer as games start to require more than 3GB VRAM.

Solution

I think you'll find that's out of stock. The website isn't even loading for me.

I honestly don't think you'll find a 480 or 580 at a reasonable price right now, it's not even worth trying.

OP, either look second hand or get a 1060. You might be able to get a second hand 980ti for at or a little over $200. That's still a fantastic card. But if you want new, 1060 is really your only option.

Ah, it was working just a moment ago. Oh well. I agree with the above as your options are limited for that price..especailly for streaming. The 980 Ti is probably the best option.

That's a shame. Maybe it was in stock and the miners rushing to grab one crashed the site!

What's wrong with a GTX 1060? It's a solid mid-range gaming card. With the Ryzen 1800X I'd be expecting OP to use software h264 encoding rather than any hardware-based options. But even if OP wanted to use Shadowplay or NVENC, the 1060 can handle that just fine with very little impact on FPS. Streaming (either software or hardware) doesn't actually impact GPU load in any significant way. So whether streaming or just gaming, the 1060 is a solid mid-range card.

@Chugalug in another thread just pointed out that EVGA have a one-day sale on right now on the high end SSC version of the 6GB 1060 card. It's an extremely cheap $200: https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=06G-P4-6267-RX

It's a factory return unit, with limited warranty and potential aesthetic issues. But it's still a much safer bet than a second hand option and is also a very high-tier 1060, higher clocks, better cooling, (probably) better OC potential.

If you can't find a cheap, legit looking 980ti in your area, I'd jump on that 1060 right now personally before they go out of stock.

I'm not really sure what to mark as the solution haha but thank you for all of your guys advice. I'm gonna see if I can grab a second hand 980ti and if I can't I'll try and order the 1060 3gb or maybe even 6gb if I get the money.
