He got 4.54 at 6 cores 12 threads though(must be very lucky chip/boot/ambients), the 4.4 guy got it with 2 cores 4 threads, and then there is bunch of 4.25~4.3 results most of which is 6c 12t

Glad you have fun with overclocking ;)

My i5-3570k would only get to 4.3GHz @ 1.114v, even 1.55v wouldn't get it to 4.4GHz, yet my i7-3770K could hit 5.0GHz at 1.388v or 4.9GHz at 1.323v. On the same msi z77 mpower.

Definitely a silicon lottery issue. Some chips just shine while others play in the mud.

My ryzen 5 2600 won't run past 4.0 stably. I haven't tried 1.4 or higher because it's not really worth the minimal Hz increase. Thermals have nothing to do with it either. Temps are perfectly fine (Rosewil AIO) but as soon as I try any type of stress test, I crash. It's that damn silicon lottery, and my luck has always been dismal lol. Seem's like op on the other hand, you have def got yourself a winner.

True. The most i can push it with HT on is 4.3ghz stable all cores @ 1.35v and 4.398 with ht off (https://valid.x86.fr/p0ke34 ) @ 1.45v. the absolute best I managed was 4.5ghz, on two threads with ht off but it was unstable and couldnt run any benchmarks :(
