Ryzen 2600 compatibility on B350 Tomahawk?

I currently have a ryzen 3 1200 on my b350 tomahawk mobo and am planning to upgrade to a ryzen 2600. However, I have read about some incompatibility issues but also have read about it working aslong as there is a BIOS update. I am currently hesitant to upgrading because I don't know whether it will work with a BIOS update or not so I am asking here.
