Question Ryzen 2600 few pins burned and one pin is broken or removed

Hello guys, i need help regarding my ryzen 5 2600 processor I just bought it and it burned out. Is this still gonna work? Or it a trash now? I need yout expert advice. Thanks

I think the only way to know is to try it...but I wouldn't feel real comfortable running a CPU with a missing pin.

I would be more worried about the burnt-out pins than missing pins. For pins to burn out, there has to be a short on the CPU and the most likely way this would happen is if the CPU was installed the wrong way around. The CPU is very likely toast and quite possibly the motherboard too.

the best way to know is try it. and dont forget to apply thermal paste

I did installed it right. Im sure about that but ya it toast my board
