Attempting to make a custom PC with the new ryzen cpu and keeping it under $1000. The main use for the PC is for gaming. Let me know if you would use different components in the build or if it looks fairly solid. The components I am shaky on most are the psu and RAM with the motherboards. Thank you in advance.

CPU/MOBO: Ryzen 2600x with ASUS ROG STRIX B350-F Gaming Motherboard - $280
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC 6GB GDDR5 - $300
RAM: Patriot Memory VIPER 4 Series 3000MHz (PC4 24000) 2x4gb - $83
HD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda – $55
SSD: SanDisk SSD PLUS 240GB - $68
PSU: EVGA 600W 80+ Bronze ATX - $40
Case: Corsair Carbide 270R ATX Mid tower - $55

Total: $881

Ryzen architecture is such, that it performs better with faster RAM. AMD recommends 2666mhz and/or higher, 3200mhz being the sweet spot... https://www.toptengamer.com/best-ram-amd-ryzen-5-7-cpu/

And definitely change that PSU to a better one... https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/
Corsair CX/CXM should be good on budget.

This build would be better at 1080p gaming, also has twice the RAM.

For Intel, this should be better...

Solution
Found a MSI Z370 GAMING PLUS LGA 1151 ATX board for $80 at a local store. I believe this is a better board with the i5-8400 vs. the B360M DS3H. Is that correct?

Looks like my final build looks something like this:

CPU: i5-8400 Coffee Lake 2.8 - $170
MOBO: MSI Z370 GAMING PLUS LGA 1151 ATX - $80
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC 6GB GDDR5 - $300
RAM: G. SKILL Ripjaw V series 2 x 4gb - $84 (newegg)
HD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda – $55
SSD: Crucial MX500 SSD 250GB - $70 (newegg)
PSU: Corsair CX-M 550M 80+ Bronze - $35 (newegg)
Case: NZXT S340 ATX Mid-Tower Computer Case Black/Red - $55
Total: $869

Thanks for your help fellas.
