ryzen 2600x over 1600

Just want opinions on which combo I should get.
Ryzen 5 1600 and a Strix B350-F ~$250
Ryzen 5 2600X and a Strix X470-F ~$390
I plan on picking up a 1070 or waiting for the new series to release.
Any thoughts or opinions would be great!

Do you have already have the 1070?
With the 100 dollar, you can have 1070 upgrade to 1080.

Msi asrock x470, tends to be cheaper than the strix x470. If can try your luck getting a b350 strix with 2600x, however, youbmight encounter some issues with bios compatibility. I would say 1600 or 2600 with a cheaper x470 boards.
