Question Ryzen 2700X max memory frequency support

Does Ryzen 2700X CPU support more than 3200Mhz RAM frequency if the mobo does support that higher frequency?
I have a MSI Tomahawk Max that does support max 4133Mhz Ram at OC mode but im not sure about the 2rd Ryzen gen that can support such higher RAM frequency or not.

Yes, any Ryzen supports as fast RAM as your MB does although 3200 - 3600MHz makes most sense.

But my mobo supports more than 3600MHz. So the 2nd gen of Ryzen does not support higher than 3600MHz?

It does but bios gets picky above 3600MHz and you are not gaining much performance above that.
I had my Kingston b-die RAM 3600 overclocked to 4000MHz on my 2700x but because of higher Cas latency i didn't get any better performance.

I see. So I can OC above 3200MHz on Ryzen 2700X while my mobo does support that!
