Question Ryzen 2700X max memory

Notice that Ryzen 2700X spec states maximum memory size and speed as DDR4 2933Mhz. On the net have read about people using DDR4 3200Mhz memory. Will there be an issue with the higher memory?

3200 is common on Ryzen setups.

Does it require a BIOS tweak? I am going to use Asus Crosshair VII MB.

The A-XMP profile needs to be chosen in the BIOS under DRAM settings.

Should have mentioned tha I need 32Gb memory. 2 x 16 or 4 x 8GB. Does this have any impact?

Then, in that case, go for 2x16, I believe ASUS uses daisy chain for their DIMM slots. And yes 3200 CL16 should work, if you plan on overclocking it past that, go for a 3200 CL14 kit, because they are b-die (the best type of die for memory) if you can afford it. Other than that 3200 CL16 should most likely work on the zen+ architecture.
