[SOLVED] Ryzen 2700x + MSI 5700 Xt Mech OC not running fortnite well :(

Hi,
I recently purchased and entire PC (prebuilt, I know, shame on me) but regardless, I ran some benchmarks and got normal performance (compared to similarly spec'd systems) But when I downloaded and ran fortnite, it crashed my entire PC every time I tried to launch it. I updated my drivers to the latest (most stable) AMD driver, and that fixed the issue. However, in game, I noticed I could not go any break than the 100-120 FPS range (all epic settings, -motion blur. ) And what especially confuses me is how it dips below 60 sometimes, but only for a bit, the frame rate was VERY inconsistent, often jumping around from 50-120, etc) I turned down the setting, and here's the shocker- NO DIFFERENCE IN PERFORMANCE. Well, a few more frames, but barely noticeable (now its 1080p low, epic view distance) but the frames had a ~5 frame improvement, give or take. I'm truly stumped as to how I can fix this. Thanks.
---Specs---
R7 2700X (base clock)
MSI 5700 XT Mech OC
16 GB Corsair DDR4 (2x8GB, yes, I changed it to 3000MHz in the BIOS)
Crucial M.2 SSD (don't know the name)
I don't really know any other spec that is relevant. Again, thank you for your time and help.

Oh, but it is.

These companies LOVE to cut corners to save themselves money at the cost of screwing their customers over.

That's a pretty low end motherboard. That psu is also something that shouldn't even be in the same house with a RX 5700XT.
I understand that it’s a pretty bad motherbord

oh. I knew the motherboard wasn’t that good but I thought it would do. Also what is wrong with the psu? I understand that it’s not certified at all but i assumed that since it’s from Corsair it would be fine.

for what game?
full system spec? include make and model of the psu

so you change the psu?
I haven't yet changed my psu yet. (I'm not sure which one to use) but when my games crash, it normally has an error message and/or an error code that points to a driver problem. I have changed my drives several times, uninstalled the old ones, and updated the the newest and second-newest AMD drivers several times to no avail. Any solutions?
Thanks
