Question Ryzen 2700x or Wait for Ryzen 3000 Series

I currently have the Ryzen 5 1500x and I'm wanting to upgrade to something a little newer. I know the "Release" of the 3000 Series is around May and I haven't seen many "Rumors" on the expected performance increase on the new Series. Should I wait for the 3000 Series? Or should I go ahead and upgrade? I only ask because the availability of the new series may raise prices or have a longer wait time due to availability. Any advice or suggestion would be great!

I am sure they won't be released until after E3 (june) so that will be July,
Also, why would prices rise? These chips may be better than the Gen 2 and may cost more, but the older chips will have to fall in price.

The contradictory thing is that we do not expect Ryzen to go retail before the summer, in fact, even July 7th already was named a while ago as an actual announcement date for the first models to be released.

Those are all just speculations, I'm waiting for "Real thing" and first reviews, I started wit 1600x as soon as it was available but found it not to meet expectations. Switching again to 1700x and x470 chipset produced much better results and now 2700x is all I expected from it. It's more than enough for work or play so now there's no hurry to switch for 3rd gen. As it's certain that Ryzen 3 will work decently with x400 chipset and until it comes out, monetary loss may be minimal and in hurry either.
