While playing games like Fallout 4,Titanfall 2,Wolfenstein 2 I encounter huge drops in fps in specific areas of the game and on monitoring using msi afterburner i found that my CPU utilisation was dropping as low as 17%.In other parts of game I do not encounter such issues.I play all the games at max preset at 1920x1080.my specs-
GPU-RX 460 4GB(DRIVER 18.10.1)
CPU-RYZEN 3 1200(CHIPSET DRIVER 17.10)
PSU-VS450
MOTHERBOARD-AB350M- GAMING 3(GIGABYTE F23 BIOS)
RAM-CORSAIR 8GB DDR4 SINGLE CHANNEL
WINDOWS 10 64BIT(1809)
I have tried doing clean install of my drivers using AMD cleanup utility and i have disabled all power saving features in BIOS but the CPU utilisation remained the same in those games.I tried to play around with vsync options in the radeon settings and in the game but nothing helped. In Fallout 4 I encounter issue near areas with densely packed branches. In wolfenstein 2 I encounter this issue in the New Orleans mission. In titanfall 2 I encounter the issue in the last mission where the fps drops severely. Is this a BIOS issue or an AMD driver issue?Any suggestions?
