which one of these processors will make me able to play a game, have a voice call on discord, play a 1080p video on youtube and have 1-2 other chrome tabs open at the same time? and also which one will make me the most future proof so I don't have to buy a new cpu every year.

games I play: CS:GO, Fortnite, GTA V, Batman Arkham knight, Watch dogs 2.

and also will this be a good upgrade: Asus PRIME B350-Plus, HyperX FURY 8GB 2400MHz DDR4, Corsair TX550 550W, 80+ gold, R3 1200, R3 1300x, R5 1500x and a (Gtx 970 that I will buy of my friend)

My Specs.

As I said buy sensible , what I suggested saves you €44 which is less than the price difference between the 1500x & the 1600 .
& as good as the 1500x is , the 1600 is quite literally 50% more cpu for an extra €30.
You want future proofing & multitasking ?? The 1600 is the cpu you want.

The cx550 has nothing in common with the older cx range which were mediocre.
The cx550 I listed is a rock solid psu with a 5 year warranty.
Both of them can do it fine, but for obvious reasons the R5 1400 is the better CPU. The 4 extra threads are useful for multitasking. Your motherboard, RAM, and PSU are all fine, I would just try to get a faster RAM kit since having faster RAM helps Ryzen's performance.

Well of course the Ryzen 5 1400 is better then the Ryzen 3 1200. Im not sure if your overall PC will like to have chrome open and a 1080p Video playing.. no pc likes that.

GTX 970 is "okey". Its not bad, but also not the best anymore, how much will you pay for it?

I'm getting the gpu for about 150€ I will try to get it lower. and I also can get 1300x if that is better because the prize difference is pretty big. also updated it to 1500x cause it was 5€ more expensive and came with a cooler also (even if i already got one tho) what ram speed is like the "best" to use and it says on mobo page it supports 2133,2400,2600,2933,3200 MHz but will it support 3000MHz speed?

Hm okey well, you can take a look at a GTX 1050(ti). Its also a good and Uptodate lower/mid budget card and costs arround the price you would buy the 970.

To the RAM, If you put in 3000Mhz Ram it should not be a problem, the MOBO will just probably clock it at 2933Mhz.

Huh? I have Chrome with a dozen tabs, Firefox with 20+ tabs, Visual Studio, Arduino SDK, Libre Office, GIMP and a bunch of other stuff open all the time and that doesn't really get in the way of playing videos on the side while playing WoW or whatever else on my i5-3470. What kills performance the worst is running out of spare RAM.

If OP doesn't want to 'buy a CPU every year' then I'd recommend saving a little while longer and go for the 1600. If he's struggling that badly to save, perhaps the 2600 will be out by the time he's ready to buy.

BTW, may want to swap that Corsair VS for something better, not a particularly good model line.

I dont say its impossible, i just said PC's probably dont like it. I do also have tabs open, only if I have to many open i see some performance decrease, but since I use Opera i can open like 100 of tabs and no issue.

That multitask thing is like the worst case scenario. and when I play games and i check cpu, gpu, ram usage and that the cpu is 96-100% usage when watching youtube and playing fortnite can't even have a 360p video on my second monitor for it to not go 100% usage normally it's like around 60% usage with like no background activity. and the gpu is very nice at 50% both when multitasking and not multitasking.
so is it worth +60€ for the 1500x or +23€ for the 1300x or is the 1200 for 107€ the best money for performance?
