I have just bought a new motherboard, ga-ab350-gaming, and CPU, ryzen 3 1200. And after plugging everything in, including my old ssd card with windows 7 already installed on, I notice that the USB ports starts to malfunction as soon as windows boots up. I have scattered the net for a solution, and have found some, but I don't understand how to do it since I am not that familiar with computers. I haven't found any answers for this particular setup and issue, most of what I've found is for installing windows, which I don't need to do. How do I get the USB to work?

Solution
If you upgraded your motherboard, Windows will still try to use the old drivers for the USB ports.

You should have gotton a CD with the drivers for the motherboard, install those.

If that doesn't work, a fresh Windows install would your best bet.
