Question Ryzen 3 1300X one core is slow

I have a ryzen 1300x overclocked to 4ghz and half the time I start my pc one core will run slow so when im playing games 3 of the 4 cores are at 100% while the other is stuck at about 50% which is showing in some games. I've googled this and I haven't found anything so help is very appreciated. According to hw monitor the first 3 cores are at 3990mhz and the other is at 1774mhz with temps around 25C this happens when running the cpu-z stress test too. I’m just wondering what is going on and how to fix it.

A games ability to use multiple cores depends on how the game was coded. The game in question may just happen to use 3 cores the most, and the 4th not as much.

well it’s during normal use too like when using cpu-z to stress test

Hmm, try running cinebench, see if all cores get close to 100%.

Try running Prime95 and see what happens. Your overclock may not be stable. Your vcore may be too low.
