[SOLVED] Ryzen 3 2200G-Bazooka msi b450m compbility(BIOS UPDATE NEEDED?)

Sorry guys, but I have already ordered both the cpu and mobo and want to make sure before opening them. Am I going to need a bios update before the system can run? If so I don't have a spare old ryzen to do the bios update...Has anyone tried it ?

No. A B450 will not REQUIRE a BIOS update. The 2200G has been out for plenty of time and the 400 series motherboards were released specifically for the 2xxx series Ryzen.

A BIOS update is always a good idea to get the latest fixes when building a new system.
