So I’ve mad my decision. 230$ will get me a msi b350 motherboard ( 4 ram slots up to 64gb ram, am4, 1 pcie x16, 4 sata, usb 2.0,3.0) and 16gb g skill ram and by it being a micro atx I have a case for it. I now have a r9 390x fx8350 with 2 broken pins 8gb ddr3

I’ll be ordering the motherboard today since it’s 45$ but is it a good one based on reliability

This isn't correct. The 2200g is based on first gen Ryzen and was released before second Gen Ryzen. So it will work straight into a B350 motherboard.

I do think you will be better going for a B450 as you won't need a BIOS update if you want to upgrade to a second gen Ryzen CPU.

Because it depends on the release date of the board I’ve seen it on other forums and YouTube but I don’t care that’s not what I came here for. I’ve found a brand new msi b450 for 75$ I’ll get that instead.

Yeah I was just trying to knock off the items needed for next gen as fast as possible I only have 67$ lol had to pay bills I submitted an offer for 60$ I’ll try 67$ but I’ll be ordering the ryzen and ram tomorrow
