Ryzen 3 2200G + GTX1050 Ti VS Ryzen 5 1600 + GTX1050 for video editing.

Hi, can you recommend me which combo is better for 4k and 60fps video editing.

1400 is stronger than 2200g, 2200g is about the same performance as a 1300x 4c4t. where the 1400 is a 4core8thread cpu.

1050 ti is also faster than 1050.

so that r5 1400 / 1050 ti is faster.

I will choose neither...
Can you list the rest components? How long is the 4k video? You may need large ram as well. SSD is a must imo.

About 5-10 minutes YouTube videos. I plan to get SSD too.

1600 is definitely the better choice, 6 core 12 threads. Good gpu may offer acceleration in some features, but mostly cpu heavy tasks. Hands down.

MSI B350 Arctic, Gigabyte 1080, Corsair 4x8GB/3200 Dominator, Corsair watercooled R1800, M2. S 960 Evo, 3TB Barracuda in an Corsair Air 240 case. Benq 10bit 4k doing Rec. 709.

Snappy, works. Pick the older and cheaper 1800x and save a little by getting a decent AMD card. More cores with Resolve is better.1050 is obsolete and not really optimal for 4k. I want to be able to use my PC for many years. There will be many cores, more bus lanes and 8k cards in 5-10 years.

threadripper with a 1050 would have been much better than what you have for video editing
