Hi!

Ive overclocked my 2200G to 3.8GHz @ 1.384v thru UEFI. I noticed that I the clockspeed and voltage does not automatically run lower with very light workloads (Around 8% CPU usage).

How am I going to be able to correct this? I want to run it at a lower clockspeed when CPU usage is low

Solution

Correct, ensure the P states are enabled. They would also be close to the same features as C6, or C1.

You may not be able to alter them in bios, but as long as their enabled, that will allow your CPU to throttle down.
