Hello I just bought Ryzen 3 2200g, and i just realize that this cpu only work with pci x8, instead i want to buy 1050ti soon because my friend's store doesn't have Asus's Brand so i use this IGPU for a while. All i knew is a lot of Gpu using x16.
My Question
1. Can i put 1050Ti on this rig?
2. If i can, is there any drop performance?

Thanks, I don't see any article about this one yet. Maybe u guys can help me. in case i dont understand at all about pci lanes.

Solution
You can put the 1050Ti in, and you won't see any negative effect on performance. Even a 1080Ti is hard pressed to fully saturate 8 lanes of PCI-E 3.0. The PCI-E lane restrictions would likely only really come into play on future high end GPUs, and even in that situation, you may hit a CPU bottleneck before the PCI-E lane bandwidth becomes an issue.
