Ryzen 3 2200G stock cooler with ryzen 7 1700

Hello guys, so I have a ryzen 3 2200G with the stock cooler and i am upgrading to an ryzen 7 1700 but I dont have the original cooler, can the 2200G hold on at the 1700? or should I buy a new one?

do you have gpu? 1700 does not have igpu.
For cooler, yes, it will be weak but should run stock or mild overclocking for 1700 just fine.
1700 uses Wraith Spire
2400G has Wraith stealth

Yes I do have gpu, I have an 1070 8GB
It will be running in stock mode so I think i will keep it like that and later buy an water cooling system. Thanks!
