No need for coin toss, 2600 hands down.

It really depends on what your wanting to do. If your wanting to overclock then get the X chip because those are designed for overclocking. With the 2600 you get 2 more cores. I would go for 2600.

Did you actually find the 2300X for sale somewhere? Thought it was basically OEM only.
