Seems like the 3600 is the "sweet" spot for this CPU, but i'm confused about one thing. On my MSI B450 Gaming Carbon etc, the highest "supported" frequency is 3466, HOWEVER, that list was made for the Ryzen 2000 series. If i buy 3600 memory, what are the chances it would work at this speed? Is memory speed more tied to the CPU or the motherboard?

Solution
Supposedly it's tied more to the CPu than mobo and people are expecting RAM to work better on the 4xx mobos than previously. Let's hope so... because I bought a b450 pro carbon and 32gb of 3200 RAM. And I spent such an insane amount on the RAM, before prices came down, that I just can't sell mine to buy 3600.

i got a c14 3000 kit and overclocke it to 3600 super easy im sure it will go higher. i think 3800 is max for results. your latency will get better with higher freq. i got way way better results at 3600 then 3000
