Ryzen 3 pre-applied thermal paste question

Hi,

I have recently completed a build using a Ryzen 3 processor with stock cooler. I know that the cooler has pre-applied thermal paste.

However, I've now realised that I didn't remove any film or cover from the bottom of the cooler before attaching it to the mobo.

Can anybody tell me if the Ryzen 3 stock cooler has a film or cover over the thermal paste that needs to be removed before installation?

If I remove the cooler to check this, and there is no cover, I'll need to remove the paste and start again, which I'd rather not do!

Many thanks,

I may have found the answer.

"That's just how it comes. Preapplied and ready to be put on the cpu. No cover."

I'll do some temp tests to ensure its working ok.
