Question Ryzen 3000 and RAM

I am prepping for a Ryzen 3000 build and see that this CAS 14 3200 mhz ram is on sale for a great price.

Do we know at this point if Ryzen 3000 microprocessors will be optimized in the same way as previous gens in terms of speed, dual channel capability, etc.?



I am tempted to buy for the good price.

I know, but 5000 mhz is not a viable option for consumers if I am correct

Who cares about support list, even 2nd gen on 400 series chipset have no problem with any 3200MHz RAM.

AM4 boards (ie b450) supports ryzen 3000 and these sticks are certainly compatible, no?

Ryzen 2000 1000% supports 3200mhz RAM and we can assume that Zen 2 uses the same infinity fabric stuff that Ryzen 2000 uses, so it's probably worth it.

On most systems RAM quality is first in line to work at high speed, closely followed by MB configuration and BIOS options including conformity to XMP. AMD's AGESA code has large role in that but it has greatly improved. Then there's MB manufacturers which need to optimize their boards on electronics level as well to have DOCP to translate XMP properly and/or have automatic settings to suit both RAM and IMC.
