Hey!

I was going to get the Gigabyte Aorus Pro B450 for my 3600x & Vega 56/Rx 5700 build, but it sadly doesn't have the option to flash BIOS w/o an older CPU, whereas MSI has this option for almost all of their B450's. Therefore after quite a lot of research I locked the MSI Pro Carbon AC as my of mobo choice after accumulating insights from countless stellar reviews about it.

Of course now that I think everything is ok and I just gotta choose between the Rx 5700 & Vega 56, I read that MSI does not have a full BIOS for the Ryzen 3000 chips and they only have a beta, when as an example Gigabyte seems to have a full one.

I think my key question is that does anyone know if the full MSI BIOS will be rolling out on no time or is there a possibility for it to be delayed heavily...? I'm quite sceptic about installing a beta......

After counting the shipping estimates, my parts should arrive in roughly a week if ordered in the next couple of days. Do u think MSI will still be stuck with the beta BIOS or that they will have a full perfectly working one within a few days...?

People seemed to be really frustrated in their forums, but the moderators did not allow much talk regarding this subject.

This subject quite complex to put together into a rational question, but I appreciate anyone's time who did read this and considers giving their insights regarding the subject.

The most recent BIOS for the Gigabyte board is from May. Regardless of whether they call it a "beta" or not, I doubt it's any better than the MSI BIOS.

It sounds like the firmware for Ryzen 3000 is kind of up in the air even for X570 boards, so it's hard to say when a "full perfectly working one " will be availab.e
