Greetings.

So I upgraded my system about a week ago and picked up a x470 prime pro with Ryzen 7 2700 and have looked into the specs of these Ryzen 3000s.
Would it be a recommendation to send back the 2700 and pickup the 3700x for the extra £70 or so?

My use is of gaming/streaming. Not that we know the benchmarks yet and won't until a short while after the release of the cpus but I have until the 8th July to send the 2700 back.

I currently have a GTX 1060 3gb which I'm aiming to replace with a 2070.

So I either stick with the 2700 and add the funds towards the gpu or send the cpu back and pickup the newer version when it's out.

Cheers folks.

I guess that even if you add 70$ on your GPU you can't really do a step further than the 2070 now. You can also keep this cpu and than go with the 2070 super. Or just take the new ryzen (wich in my opinion is a really good cpu for the price!). But in this case be you want to update the bios to the new version before installing the new cpu.
