Question Ryzen 3200G crash

Hi, First time building a PC. Specs are as follows:

ryzen 3200G
B450M mortar max
2x 8gb 3000 mhz
Stock cooler
Psu 450w corsair

Everytime I turn on game boost or turn on xmp and over clock cpu to above the base 3.6, my pc always either freezers, crashes or restart.
Any idea why? In stress test, everything is fine but if I play a game the problem above persists.
Even game boost which is supposed to be a feature isnt cutting it. Any idea why? Thanks everyone

latest bios? check the temp?

Hi yes. Latest bios updated version last June 10 I think. Temp during stress test is cpu plays around
70 to 74. While during games it sometimes reaches around 75 to 79. Last time it freezes gpu temp is only at 67 degrees.
