Question Ryzen 3600 or 2700 for photo editing?

Hi everyone

I want upgrade my old i5 4570 for photo edition, Photoshop, Capture ONE and ON1.
I doubt between ryzen 2700 and 3600. First is 40 euros cheaper than 3600 and it has more cores and threads but in all reviews I,ve read ryzen 3600 is better.

No gamming or video edition, only photo edition

The motherboard Will be msi b450 mortar max

I'd honestly go for the 3600 the all core is barely slower but it'd do better in gaming and lots of others but if you care for the extra 7% all core performance go for the 2700

"No gamming or video edition, only photo edition" core count of both processors are pretty enough for this purpose only advantage is the IPC improvement (single core), so i think 3600 would be the better shot. There's no reason to head back to an older one for more weak cores.

Either processor leaves a path for future upgrades but the 3600 really does seem the better choice for your useage as compared directly to 2700X.
