[SOLVED] Ryzen 3600 Tempature

Hi,

I have the new Ryzen 3600 cpu together with a new computer.

I monitor the temperature with Ryzen Master, and HWMonitor - which doesn't show information some of the time, but mostly with Ryzen Master.

Today when I installed a game, just during installation, it hit 80 degrees. When playing a relatively simple game like Splinter Cell Blacklist it works on 70c.

i do have air conditioning in my room which I turn on sometimes.

What is normal temperatures for gaming? Also, Is there a way to monitor the full history of the cpu? Ryzen Master only shows the last 1.5 minutes.

I have read of prime95. What does this do exactly? Is it dangerous?

And I already have HWMonitor installed. But it doesn't show readings sometimes. Just says [TRAIL], same for gpu.

It makes your cpu figure out prime numbers. This loads the CPU and makes sure its stable. It won't harm your cpu if it runs cool.

Also HWMonitor always shows a higher temperature. What should I trust?

Id trust ryzen master actually.

Look at the ryzen master temps while running the prime 95 small fft.

Ryzen Master and trust the HWINFO64 CPU sensors. NOT the CPU temperature from the motherboard sensors.
